Elo
Game-by-game rating updates and calibrated win probabilities, including limited treatment of outside opponents.
RPI
Winning percentage and the records of opponents. Useful for judging schedules and results without using scoring margins.
Strength of Record
Estimates how impressive each win-loss record is given the difficulty of the schedule.
THE COMPOSITE MODEL
Weighted to emphasize predictive strength
80% SRS · 10% Elo · 5% RPI · 5% SOR. These are the published composite weights. All divisions share gender-specific opponent strength calculations; only Division A/B teams appear publicly.
Forfeit scores of 2–0 are included in records but not scored as ordinary basketball margins. Division AA and out-of-state opponents do not require complete recorded schedules. Older-era historical classification is preserved. Published rankings update only after manual approval.
